With backgrounds in public service, transportation, private business, and civic leadership, our Board provides clear oversight, strategic vision, and strong fiscal stewardship to ensure that Umpqua Public Transit operates efficiently and responsibly on behalf of the taxpayers in Oregon and across the nation.

As the first government agency in Oregon to adopt President Trump’s executive orders eliminating DEI mandates from our policies and practices, our Board is committed to fairness, neutrality, and equal treatment without bias of any kind. We believe public service should focus on outcomes, accountability, and respect for every individual.

Grounded in the values of transparency and limited government, our Board sees public transit, not just as infrastructure, but as a tool for personal independence, economic access, and opportunity for all. A lift UP, not a hand out.
